先前在小米12系列发布会上，小米共计推出了三款机型，分别是小米12、小米12X和小米12 Pro，现在小米12系列第4款成员即将登场，命名为小米12 Lite。
据Android Police报道，小米12 Lite已经获得FCC认证，型号为2203129G，同时现身Geekbench跑分网站。
该机配备了6GB记忆体、128GB储存空间，同时还有8GB+256GB高配版本可供选择，处理器为骁龙778G，萤幕为120Hz OLED萤幕，尺寸为6.55吋，电池容量为4500mAh，支援67W快充，后置主镜头为6400万像素，支援OIS光学防手震。
此外，小米12 Lite出厂预装基于Android 12深度定制的MIUI 13作业系统。官方介绍，相较于MIUI 12.5增强版，MIUI 13在旗舰机上累计掉帧时长下降15%、入门机更是下降52%。
